Help obtaining Polish cadastral documents

  • Both documents together

The written extract and the map extract are requested together in one order, for the parcels you name.

  • Entitlement checked first

Owner details are released only to entitled applicants. We check your connection to the property before applying.

  • Handled in English

We identify the right office, prepare the application in Polish and deal with the correspondence.

  • Ready for use abroad

Apostille and sworn translation can be added when the receiving organisation asks for them.

Order online

Start your order

Tell us about the parcel, your connection to the property and where the documents need to go. You approve the total before you pay.

How it works

  1. You describe the parcel

Municipality, cadastral district and parcel number where available, your connection to the property and the delivery address.

  2. We check the request

We assess the parcel details and the stated entitlement and identify the responsible office. We may ask for a signed authority and evidence of legal interest.

  3. The office decides

We submit the application. The office checks entitlement and decides whether the documents can be released.

  4. Delivered to you

We arrange standard postal delivery of the documents, with an apostille or translation if agreed.

What to have ready

  • The municipality, cadastral district (obręb) and parcel number, if you have them
  • All parcels concerned, and whether they belong to the same property
  • A brief description of your connection to the property
  • The purpose: a land register entry, a notarial matter or something else, with the recipient’s instructions
  • Your deadline, contact details and the delivery address
Two documents, one request

The written extract and the map extract

The county office provides cadastral information as written extracts (wypis) and as extracts from the cadastral map (wyrys). Order both when that is what your notary or receiving office asks for.

A cadastral extract is different from a land and mortgage register extract. If your notary asks for both, they are requested through separate routes.

Who can request the documents?

Does your extract need owner details?

Information in the cadastre is public, but extracts showing owner details are released only to owners, people managing the property and applicants with a legal interest. Being interested in buying a property is not, by itself, something we treat as proof of entitlement.

Owners and managers

Your own property

Tell us how you hold or manage the property. We may need a signed authority to act for you.

Legal interest

Someone else’s property

You need a legal basis and evidence of it. We assess it before applying; the office decides.

Good to know

What to know before you order

The points that most often decide whether the documents can be issued.

Where the application goes

To the county office (starostwo powiatowe) or the city office for the property’s location. We identify the right one for you.

Parcel number and district

A parcel number is most useful together with its cadastral district: the same short number can occur in different places.

What the cadastre records

Location, boundaries, area, land-use types and soil classes of land, the land register number where one exists, and the owners.

Protecting your data

Do not paste identity-document numbers or upload confidential records into the first enquiry. We tell you what is needed after reviewing the case.

Timing and delivery

Give us your deadline and destination. We confirm the expected schedule after checking the details; the office sets its own processing time.

Not a survey or legal opinion

This service requests extracts of existing records. It does not include a new survey, boundary determination, title investigation or legal advice.

FAQ

Before you order

Short answers to the questions we hear most often.

Can anyone obtain the full documents?

No. The office checks entitlement where owner details are involved. We need to assess your legal basis and any representation documents before applying.

Is the map a new survey?

No. This service requests an extract of existing cadastral mapping. It does not include a new survey or boundary determination.

Can I order for an inherited property?

Explain the inheritance situation and what documents establish your entitlement. A family connection alone may not be sufficient for the office.

Is this the same as a land register extract?

No. The cadastre describes the parcel and its mapping; the land and mortgage register records the property’s legal position. They are separate documents.

What if the documents cannot be issued?

Inaccurate details, unavailable records or insufficient authority can prevent issue. We explain the problem and the next realistic step; we do not guarantee the outcome.

Need a sworn translation or extra copies?

Add Polish ↔ English, Polish ↔ German or Polish ↔ Spanish sworn translation to your request, by translators entered on Poland’s Ministry of Justice list. Select the number of document copies and certified translation copies in the order form; we confirm availability and a combined quote before payment.
