The application asks for exact personal details. We check them against your documents before filing.
Ready for use abroad
Apostille and sworn translation can be added when the receiving authority asks for them.

About you, or about an entity you represent
The register has one application form for a person and another for a collective entity, such as a company. We handle certificates about you, or about an entity you are authorised to represent.
Request a quoteWhat to know before you order
The points that decide how quickly the certificate reaches you and whether it is accepted.
Power of attorney
The authorisation must be an original and must state that we may file the application and collect the certificate on your behalf.
Exact details matter
The application asks for your surname at birth, your parents’ first names, your mother’s surname at birth, your date and place of birth, citizenship and PESEL.
Official issue time
An application is dealt with without undue delay, within 7 days. Postage, apostille and translation add time; tell us your deadline.
Use in another EU country
For an eligible document establishing absence of a criminal record, issued for a citizen of the issuing EU country and presented in another EU country, Regulation (EU) 2016/1191 removes the apostille requirement. A multilingual standard form may reduce translation requirements. Check that your document and intended use fall within the Regulation.
Outside the EU
Authorities abroad often ask for an apostille and a sworn translation. We confirm the route before adding either.
Your data
We keep your request in a private record and use the details only to prepare the application and deliver the certificate.

Legal basis and official sources

- Act of 24 May 2000 on the National Criminal Register (ustawa o Krajowym Rejestrze Karnym)
- e-Justice: public documents in the EU
Can you request a certificate about someone else?
We handle certificates about you, or about an entity you are authorised to represent, under your signed power of attorney.
Do I need to come to Poland?
No. You sign the power of attorney by hand and post the original to us; we file the application and collect the certificate.
How long does it take?
The register deals with an application within 7 days. Postage to and from Poland, an apostille and a translation add time, so tell us your deadline when ordering.
Is an electronic certificate enough?
It depends on the receiving authority. The electronic certificate is valid only as an electronic file; a printout of it is not an official document.
Can the certificate be apostilled and translated?
Yes, as add-ons. Choose them in the order form and we confirm the route and the total before payment.
Need a sworn translation or extra copies?
Add Polish ↔ English, Polish ↔ German or Polish ↔ Spanish sworn translation to your request, by translators entered on Poland’s Ministry of Justice list. Select the number of document copies and certified translation copies in the order form; we confirm availability and a combined quote before payment.
Visual checklist for your document request
Ask the receiving authority which format it accepts before requesting a certificate. A printout and an original electronic document are different things.
