Help obtaining your Polish land register extract

  • An official extract

Extracts issued by Central Land Register Information have the force of documents issued by a court.

  • Request checked first

We review the KW number or property details before applying, so the right register is requested.

  • Handled in English

We prepare and submit the application in Polish and deal with the correspondence for you.

  • Ready for use abroad

Apostille and sworn translation can be added when the receiving organisation asks for them.

Order online

Start your order

Choose the extract on the order form and tell us where the paper document needs to go. You approve the total before you pay.

How it works

  1. You choose the extract

Ordinary or full, plus the KW number or the property details you have and the delivery address. In English.

  2. We check the request

We review the details. If the KW number is missing, the register has to be identified before the extract can be ordered.

  3. The extract is issued

We submit the application for the selected extract. An apostille or translation is added if agreed.

  4. Delivered to you

We arrange standard postal delivery of the document to the address you gave us.

What to have ready

  • The KW number, copied with all letters, digits and separators
  • If there is no KW number: the address, parcel number or any old documents you hold
  • Whether the recipient asks for an ordinary or a full extract
  • The destination country, the receiving organisation and its document instructions
  • Your deadline, contact details and the delivery address

Official extract

Do you need the official document?

A printout of the online register view does not have the force of a court document. We apply for an official extract issued by Central Land Register Information and deliver it to you.

Not official

Screen printout

A printout of the online register view. Useful for checking; not an official document.

Our service

Official extract

Issued by Central Land Register Information with the force of a court document, delivered to your address.

Good to know

What to know before you order

The points that most often decide whether an extract does its job.

Who issues the document

Extracts are issued by Central Land Register Information (Centralna Informacja Ksiąg Wieczystych), which has branches at the district courts keeping land registers. PoloniaHub handles the application.

Four sections

A register has four sections: property identification and related rights, ownership and perpetual usufruct, other rights and restrictions, and mortgages.

The KW number

A full KW number has a four-character code of the court department, the register number and a check digit. Copy every character exactly.

No KW number?

Tell us what you know. The cadastre records the KW number where a register exists, but an address alone is no guarantee that the right register can be identified.

Timing and delivery

Give us your deadline and destination. We confirm the expected schedule after checking the details; processing, further evidence and postage are separate stages.

Not a survey or legal opinion

An extract reports the register entries. It is not a boundary survey, valuation, title investigation or legal advice on a transaction.

FAQ

Before you order

Short answers to the questions we hear most often.

Will this show every old deed?

No. An extract reflects the register within the scope of the selected format. Historic deeds or files held by a court may require a separate request.

Can you find the register from an address?

We can review the information you have. We do not promise that an address will be enough to identify the correct register.

Is a printout from the EKW portal the same as an extract?

No. A printout of the online view does not have the force of a court document. An extract issued by Central Land Register Information does.

Does this prove the physical boundary on the ground?

No. It is a register document, not a boundary survey. If you need a parcel description and map, see our cadastral extract and map service.

What if the extract cannot be issued?

Inaccurate details or unavailable records can prevent a document being issued. We explain the problem and the next realistic step; we do not guarantee the outcome.

Need a sworn translation or extra copies?

Add Polish ↔ English, Polish ↔ German or Polish ↔ Spanish sworn translation to your request, by translators entered on Poland’s Ministry of Justice list. Select the number of document copies and certified translation copies in the order form; we confirm availability and a combined quote before payment.
