Printout or confirmed printout?

A certificate of entry in CEIDG takes the form of an electronic document or a printout from the register. For use abroad, the entrepreneur can have a printout confirmed so that it can carry an apostille.

Printout or prepared record?

Prepared for use abroad

A plain register printout is not always what a foreign bank, court or authority asks for. We identify the correct entry, check its current status and history, and prepare the record for use abroad, with an apostille and translation if needed and tracked delivery.

Good to know

What CEIDG is and what an extract proves

CEIDG (Centralna Ewidencja i Informacja o Działalności Gospodarczej) is Poland’s register of individuals running a business in their own name.

Sole traders, not companies

Companies belong in the KRS; a one-person business belongs in CEIDG. For a company, use our KRS extract service.

What an entry shows

The entrepreneur’s name, business name, NIP and REGON, address, PKD activity codes, the start date, and dates of suspension, resumption or closure.

What it proves

That a named person is registered to run a business in Poland, since when, from what address and in what scope: the equivalent of a company registration certificate.

Activity codes matter

Some contracts and tenders require the registered scope to cover the work commissioned. An activity outside the registered codes can create problems for both sides.

Suspended or closed

Sole traders suspend their businesses often, and a suspended entry can look like an active one at first glance. Closed entries remain in the register.

Acceptance abroad

We cannot guarantee acceptance by a bank or foreign authority. Its document requirements must be checked with it directly.

FAQ

Before you order

Short answers to the questions we hear most often.

What does a CEIDG extract prove?

That a named person is registered to run a business in Poland, from when, at what address, and under which activity codes.

Is a CEIDG printout an official document?

Yes. A printout from the CEIDG register is an official document and needs no signature or seal. Check whether the recipient accepts it in that form; if it has to be prepared for use abroad, we handle that.

Can the extract carry an apostille?

The entrepreneur can ask the ministry responsible for the economy to confirm a CEIDG printout so that it can be certified with an apostille. If the business is not yours, we explain what can be obtained before you pay.

Can you confirm whether a contractor is still active?

Yes. The entry shows the current status, including suspension or closure.

What if the business was closed years ago?

Closed entries remain in the register. We can retrieve them along with the closure date.
